Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Sunbi ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

Description of Service

Sunbi is a mobile application that provides daily insights by comparing Western astrology (transits) and Oriental astrology (Saju / Four Pillars) side-by-side. The App offers:

  • Daily themed insights (Today feature)
  • Side-by-side comparison of Western and Oriental astrology perspectives
  • Relationship compatibility analysis (Love feature)
  • Yearly fortune based on Tojeong Bigyeol, a traditional Oriental divination method (Yearly feature)
  • Personalized coaching-style guidance

User Accounts

You can create an account using Apple or Google sign-in. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Providing accurate birth information for personalized insights

Account Deletion

You have the right to delete your account at any time from the Profile screen in the Sunbi app. When you request deletion:

  • Your account enters a 30-day grace period. During this time, you can sign back in and cancel the deletion to restore your account.
  • After 30 days, your account and all associated data are permanently and irreversibly removed.
  • Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. You must cancel your subscription separately through your device's app store settings.

Subscriptions and Payments

Sunbi offers both free and premium subscription tiers:

  • Free Tier: Limited daily features with advertisements
  • Premium Monthly: $3.99/month - Full access, no ads
  • Premium Yearly: $24.99/year - Full access, no ads

Subscriptions are processed through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). Payment will be charged to your account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

To cancel your subscription, manage it through your device's app store settings. Refunds are subject to the policies of Apple or Google.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
  • Reverse engineer or decompile the App
  • Use the App to harass, abuse, or harm others
  • Share your account credentials with others

Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Sunbi, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are owned by Sunbi and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SUNBI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

Sunbi is for entertainment and lifestyle guidance purposes only. The insights, predictions, and compatibility analyses provided by the App are not intended to be and should not be construed as:

  • Medical advice or diagnosis
  • Legal advice or counsel
  • Financial or investment advice
  • Professional counseling or therapy

Always consult qualified professionals for important decisions regarding your health, legal matters, finances, or relationships.

Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the updated terms in the App. Your continued use of the App after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease immediately.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
